Are all Impactwear® products made in New
Zealand?
Yes, Impactwear Hip Protectors Limited is a proudly NZ owned and
operated company. Our products are researched, developed and manufactured
in NZ, ensuring high quality and excellent customer service.
Do Impactwear® Hip Protectors Work?
Yes, but they can only reduce a serious fall related injury if they
are worn - so wear them as your regular underwear.

Which Impactwear® Hip Protector Shield should I choose?
The Firm Support Shields provide the best protection for everyday
use. The Flexible Support Shields are more suitable for night time
use. The shields are interchangeable and can be used in all styles
and sizes of briefs.
Can Impactwear® Hip Protectors be worn in bed?
Yes, our Flexible Support Shields are most suitable for night time
wear. Many of our customers use the Firm Support Shield during the
day and simply change to the Flexible Support Shield for night time
use.
Has their effectiveness been proven?
Yes. Many clinical trials have now been conducted and positive results
published. Copies of these can be forwarded on request by contacting
info@impactwear.co.nz.
Can Impactwear® Hip Protectors be seen when worn?
No, except under skin-tight clothing. The shields are very slim
and are moulded to fit the curved surface of the body.
Can incontinence products be worn with Impactwear Hip Protectors?
Yes, Impactwear® Hip Protectors have been designed to be worn
as regular underwear. A special feature is the larger gusset which
allows for the use of incontinence products if needed.
Do the Impactwear® Hip Protector Shields need replacing?
The shields are made of a very strong flexible material and have
been designed to withstand high levels of impact. They are virtually
indestructible, however if the shields are damaged in any way please
contact us for a free replacement.
